Okay, so technically this accolade and the praise shamelessly trotted out below isn't really applicable to this show; it is after all a "World Premiere", with all red carpet glitz and celebrity arm-candy that that implies.
So, in lieu of any actual feedback, here are some of the nice things people have said about GUY INCOGNITO's previous Edinburgh offerings (HEROES AND VILLAINS in 2007 and OTHER PEOPLE in 2006):
'Tremendously funny... A must-see' - David Mitchell (Peep Show)
'Deliciously funny' - Steve Bennett (chortle.co.uk)
'Hard not to enjoy' - Brian Donaldson (The List)
'Find of the Fringe' - Henry Brennan (Festival FM)
'Quick-witted, sharp, intelligent... Required viewing' - Three Weeks
'Guaranteed to raise a laugh from even the most forlorn of faces' - Three Weeks again
'Beautifully observed top-notch humour... A must-see' - fringereview.co.uk
Of course, not everyone liked them - a quick Google search for the words "Heroes", "Villains", "edfringe" "James McIntyre", "fucking" and "shit" should quickly quash any such suggestions - and the good reviews for previous shows are in no way a guarantee that this year's will be up to much. But who knows, you might like it.
