Scotsman 2007

THERE are very few shows where you just know that the performers enjoy themselves so much that they'd carry on even if no-one came. This is one.

Nicko and Joe are as unlikely a pairing as Cary Grant and Rosanne Barr, but they are wonderful together, and their Bad Film Club is fast becoming a cult on the circuit. Nicko and Joe unleash something from their vast library of bad films on the public at each performance. They are bad film buffs who really know their trash. It is impressive and entertaining.

I saw Viva Knievel. As in Evel Knievel. You didn't know he was an actor? He wasn't. To the Bad Movie, Nicko and Joe add a Good Comic (in our case, Tony Law) to sit with them and comment, criticise, lip synch, add voices and generally have a funny field day with what is on screen. It is very silly, very funny and just about the best way I can imagine ending a day at the Fringe. Take popcorn, take beer, take loads of friends and have an absolute ball.
