Whatsonstage.com Scotland

Hello! With the festival getting nearer and nearer by the day, we're very pleased to have been invited by Whatsonstage.com to keep a blog on their Scotland micro-site charting the ins-and-outs of the festival process.

You can check out our first entry here:

And we'll be sure to keep this page updated when we post new blogs!

The publicity machine

Well we're just over two weeks away and the publicity machine is in full gear. Posters are designed and hitting the printing press Monday, and with 8,000 flyers and hundreds of posters on their way we should have plenty of ammunition. We've also had a great few weeks for local press with coverage across the country in newspaper publications and on the radio, and after finalizing talks with a couple of media partners we'll shortly be hosting a video diary with a national newspaper. Watch this space for more information.

The great thing about technology today is you can get up to the minute reports on ticket sales. This does however mean my browser tends to stay firmly refreshing on the Ed Fringe website - it's quite a kick to see the figures climbing inch by inch! We're ahead of our targets but no room to sit back and relax. The allocation at the Fringe Office is almost sold out on some nights, so if you can't buy through them you can always go directly through our venue.
