Number Five of the Top Ten Shows To See

So we've been up in the Burgh (Edin, not Chris De) for just over a week and done 4 shows - and the feedback has been great. We've featured in FringeReview.com's Top Ten Shows to see at the Fringe (Number 5, if you're asking) and Threeweeks' Top 13 Comedy Shows to see; all of which is lovely. Lot's of friendly faces on the mile saying how good Clever Peter is; and that's the reason we do it, to make sure the punters enjoy themselves - job done. We had The List in on Saturday for a pretty much sell-out show, and the audience were fantastic. We were pretty good too. Had the If.Comedy people in tonight, and ThreeWeeks tomorrow, so hopefully we can get bums on seats. Attached to people, not surgically removed and placed there as some form of grisly greeting for the poor unfortunate reviewer. Anyhoo, must dash, must get some sleep before putting on hotpants and flyering tomorrow. Oh yes. The Clever Peter boys in hotpants. Yummy.

Winners of the 'Best Comedy Award' at Buxton Fringe.

Well, after the 70 million hour drive up to edinburgh with the cast and crew of Clever Peter crammed, props and all, into one tiny car, we recieved some welcome news - we are the newly crowned winners of the much coveted 'Best Comedy Show Award' at the Buxton Fringe Festival where we were last weekend. In the immortal words of Gandhi, 'Nice one Clever Peter; you rock'.
Bosh.

The Beginning of Edinburgh Fringe 2008

In a matter of hours we will be driving the 10 hour trip to edinburgh, picking up Dom and Rich on the way (who will no doubt turn up with 7 suitcases and the entire cast of chicago, to make it near impossible for anyone to move) but we are looking forward to it, more than you can imagine.
Its Clever Peter's debut at the Edinburgh Fringe and we are hoping it goes as swimmingly as possible (we don't do the show underwater) pleasance dome,JOKERDOME - 10pm. (plug, tell your friends)

SO, I just dropped by to say see you in Scotland, let it be emotional...
