The ghost children of Blacket Avenue

Newly settled into our Edinburgh Fest digs the ChoppedLogic company relax
with a cup of tea when the door bell goes. Small voices suggest "we have
something for you" through the intercom. We ask who they are and what do
they have and who is it for exactly? Nothing but "weeeee have something
fuuuuurrrrrr you" in a childish lilt.
As some of us are a bit cynical we figure they're nutters or selling god
so we decline politely and hang up. A few seconds later there's a knock at
the front door of the flat (how did they get in?) on opening we're met by
two very small children, boy and girl, with long pale faces holding
plates. They offer us the plates; (again "weee have something fuurrrrr
you"), we tentatively take the plates ("thanks, but is it for us really or
have you made a mistake?"); the kids stare and then turn, and then slip
away without another word.
The plates contain lovely lamb and rice and lentil curry type stuff. The
cast eat it; much to the trepidation of the producer who thinks it may
contain poison. We never see the kids again. 4 days later and we can't
find them and can't return the plates. Is Blacket Avenue haunted? Is the
cast now possessed by the lost souls of the small pale children? No idea
but it might make for theme of a show next year........
